Ice baths are a type of cold water therapy that involves immersing your body in water that is typically between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. Ice baths have been used for centuries to improve athletic performance and recovery, and there is growing evidence that they may also have a number of other health benefits. One of the most well-known benefits of ice baths is their ability to reduce muscle soreness and inflammation. When you exercise, your muscles produce lactic acid, which can cause soreness and fatigue. Ice baths help to flush out lactic acid and other metabolic waste products from your muscles, which can speed up recovery and reduce muscle soreness.

The requirements from my client were to design a bathtub for wellness, maintaining a sense of simplicity and calm shape. I developed this minimal approach that holds and embraces the body in order to offer comfort for this recovery experience.
